Dr. KimÕs Story

As a child, my parents reassured me that my baby fat was cute, but I vividly remember being called ÒMiss PiggyÓ and the boy I liked wouldnÕt be my boyfriend because he said I had a big butt. I felt sad, frustrated, and defeated.

Although I slimmed down a bit during my teens, everything changed when I was 17.  I had a ski accident and needed surgery. After three months on crutches and a year of limited physical activity, I gained weight. I ate because I was lonely, because I was depressed about being fat again, and because I felt helpless. I began a yo-yo dieting cycle, gaining and losing the same weight over and over for several years.

Finally, I discovered a process to stop the cycle and truly mange my weight in a positive and healthy way.  I became a Thin from Within Winner and I have continued to be a winner for more than 12 years now.
